Productive Software LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the aeroLogbook website and the aeroLogbook mobile application ("the App").
This Privacy Policy explains how your information is stored and used when you use the App.
Your Data
Your logbook data belongs to you.
Your data is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud synchronization, within your personal Apple iCloud account. You may also choose to share your data with other users that you explicitly invite using Apple's CloudKit sharing features.
Productive Software LLC does not have access to your logbook data. To learn more about how Apple stores and protects your information, visit Apple's Privacy page.
iCloud Synchronization
In addition to your logbook data, a small amount of application preference information may also be stored in your iCloud account. Only devices signed in with your Apple ID can access this information.
You may disable iCloud synchronization at any time in the app's Preferences. If you disable iCloud synchronization, your data will remain on your local device but will no longer synchronize with your other devices.
Analytics
We collect limited anonymous and pseudonymous usage information using Mixpanel to help improve the application.
This information cannot be used to identify you and does not include the contents of your logbook. For example, we may collect:
- The number of airplanes created
- The number of flights logged
- Which application features are used
We do not collect information such as aircraft registration numbers, flight origins, destinations, or any other identifiable logbook content.
Crash Reports
Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports if the App encounters an unexpected error. These reports may include non-identifiable information such as:
- Device model
- iOS version
- Application version
- Technical crash logs
- An anonymous installation identifier used to determine whether a crash affected multiple users or repeated launches of the same installation
These reports do not contain your logbook data.
